An ophthalmologist is a physician specially trained to perform regular eye examinations for glasses and contact lenses and to diagnose and treat numerous disorders that include cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, injuries, infections, tumors, and allergies that affect the eyes, eyelids, orbits, and other tissues around the eye. Treatment of these disorders may require eye drops, injections, oral medication, surgery, x-ray therapy, cryosurgery, or other procedures depending on your problem.

I have practiced in Plano since 1978.
My specialty is in general ophthalmology and in the fitting of all types of contact lenses, especially for astigmatism and for bifocal use. For your convenience, there is a full service Optical Shop on our premises that offers the latest frame styles and lens technology.
The Medical office hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:15. The Optical Shop hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed Friday.
Office visits are made on an appointment basis. This is more convenient to the patient and minimizes waiting. We firmly believe that your time is valuable, too, and make a sincere attempt to adhere to the schedule as closely as possible.
